The Kogel Bottom Bracket PF30 to 30mm Shallow Road Seals is built for PF30 frames with reduced contact area in the bottom bracket shell — metal frames, frames with internal cable routing, and any build where the standard-depth cup won't seat cleanly. The shallow profile maintains a wider, stiffer bearing stance than a threaded conversion, which reduces lateral flex and extends bearing life over time.

Inside, ceramic bearings keep rotational resistance low and durability high. The road seal spec is tuned for efficiency on paved surfaces — less drag than a heavier all-weather seal, with enough protection for typical road conditions. Each unit is hand-assembled by Kogel and designed to accept most 30mm crank spindles in a PF30 shell.
