Deda made their Fastblack2 Time Trial Clip-On Extensions to provide you with an adjustable, fast position when racing against the clock. You can use these with drop bars, you can use them with time trial bars. They can be raced against the clock in UCI events as well.
They started with carbon-fiber extensions. For most of the length, these extensions are round, and secured via round clamps, so they can be moved pretty far in or out, and the J-bends can be rotated in or out for great wrist comfort. The ends can be plugged with a standard end plug or outfitted with electronic shifters.
The clamps come in either 31.7 or 35mm diameter. Also included with 31.7mm kit are 55mm worth of stack spacers (10, 15, and 30mm) and the bolts necessary to raise the arm rests as well. Armrests and pads, of course, are included, and these can be adjusted forward and back and inside and out.
The bars and clamps and rests and pads weigh 340g. The full spacer kit weighs 140g.
