The ISM PN 1.1 Saddle is built around the same noseless, forked design that defines ISM's approach to pressure relief — but with a softer touch than its PN 1.0 sibling. A dual-layer pad construction, combining a foam base with a gel top layer, gives this saddle a noticeably more cushioned feel without sacrificing the structural support that aggressive positions demand.
ISM's forked nose eliminates perineal contact entirely, which means no soft-tissue pressure and no numbness — the kind of discomfort that ends long rides early. When your hips rotate forward in a tri or aero position, your weight transfers to your pubic rami bones, exactly where the saddle's split nose is designed to support you. Fit and setup matter here: ISM recommends two to three inches of saddle behind your sit bones once you're in position, so take time dialling in placement before heading out on longer efforts. The steel rails give you the adjustment range to get there.
