And then for the greater part of the jersey including the front, back, and side panels as well as the collar, Giordana uses their MicroPhase material. MicroPhase is a dual-fiber multifilament micro fiber that has been specially designed to wick moisture away from the skin. The interior of the material is less absorbent than the exterior, which means it acts as a conductor from your skin to the outer fibers. The moisture is pulled from your skin to the exterior of the jersey where it can evaporate quickly. It is especially useful in humid climates where it becomes increasingly difficult for your body to cool itself down through sweat evaporation. The material itself accommodates a sporty fit.
To hold the jersey in place, Giordana has used a channel of light elastic silicon gripper around the waist. You won’t feel any pressure, but you also won’t be dealing with the jersey sliding from side to side, especially once you have your pockets packed full. There are three rear pockets that will provide what so many sleeveless jersey pockets don’t: actual storage space. And two high visibility strips border the two sides of the center pocket.
