The Rotor BB1 Road Threaded to 24mm Steel Bottom Bracket is Rotor's foundational external cup bottom bracket — straightforward in design, reliable in function, and built to fit both English (BSA) and Italian-threaded frames. Two machined 7075-T6 aluminium cups house pressed-in sealed steel ball bearings, keeping maintenance low and friction lower.
The 24mm inner diameter makes this bottom bracket compatible with Rotor's 3D24 road crankset, as well as Shimano road cranks and FSA MegaExo cranks. A sleeve seals the internals against moisture ingress through the frame shell, and the splined cups are designed to work with most standard external bottom bracket tools. The complete kit weighs 96g.
