The RockShox SID SL Ultimate Race Day 3P Crown 29" Suspension Fork E1 is RockShox's lightest cross-country race fork, built around a 32mm chassis for XC racers chasing every possible gram. Travel runs 100mm or 110mm on 29" wheels with a 44mm offset, and the Charger Race Day 2 damper gives you three compression positions — Lock, Pedal, and Open — adjusted right at the crown rather than through a separate remote. RockShox calls it the lightest 110mm XC fork available, and the SID-derived DebonAir+ air spring, increased bushing overlap, and reduced internal friction back that up with a fork that still holds a line on technical singletrack rather than just saving weight for weight's sake.
The crown itself is machined and anodized, giving the fork a cleaner look on the start line while shaving additional grams over a cast piece. A 32mm straight-wall aluminum upper tube keeps things light, and the fork clears tires up to 62mm wide while running rotors from 160mm to 200mm — smaller than the SID Ultimate's spec, in keeping with this fork's more focused, race-day intent.
