Pivot Shuttle SL Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike Info
Pivot Shuttle SL Pro X0 Eagle Transmission Bike takes a different approach to e-MTB performance than a full-power machine, built around a lightweight drive system and trail-oriented geometry that keep the ride closer to an analog mountain bike. The carbon frame delivers 132mm of rear travel, paired with a Fox Factory 36 fork running the GRIP2 damper at 150mm up front. Pivot built the Shuttle SL around the idea that lighter weight and refined suspension matter as much as raw motor power, and the result is a bike designed to feel lively and responsive rather than simply powerful.
Power comes from the Fazua Ride 60 drive unit, a compact system delivering up to 60Nm of torque from a motor that weighs just 1.96 kg (4.3 lbs), backed by a 450Wh battery. Both sit low and close to the bike's center of gravity, a placement Pivot points to as a key part of the Shuttle SL's handling character — with less weight and a lower center of mass than a full-power e-MTB, the bike is designed to carve and pump the trail more like an unassisted bike, with assist that fills in rather than dominates the pedaling experience. It's a meaningfully different proposition than a heavier, higher-torque system: less raw climbing power, but a livelier, more connected ride everywhere else.
The drivetrain is SRAM's X0 AXS Eagle Transmission, a wireless, direct-mount system that shifts under load without a derailleur hanger to bend or misalign — a real advantage on technical, root-strewn trails. It runs SRAM AXS Pod Controllers, a Rotor EKAPIC E-MTB crankset with a 34t chainring, and a 10-52t XS-1295 cassette with enough range for sustained climbing and fast descending alike. Braking comes from SRAM Motive Silver 4-piston calipers on 200mm front and 180mm rear HS2 rotors, a lighter-duty rotor spec than you'd find on a full-power enduro e-MTB, sized to match the Shuttle SL's lower overall weight and more trail-focused intent.
Suspension pairs the Fox Factory 36 fork with a Fox Factory Float X shock out back, and a Fox Factory Transfer dropper post keeps the cockpit adaptable between climbs and descents. DT Swiss XM1700 rims on DT Swiss 350 hubs roll on a mixed tire setup — a fast-rolling Maxxis Dissector up front and a grippier Minion DHR II out back — a combination that favors efficiency and trail speed over the maximum-traction setup you'd see on a gravity-focused build. The Phoenix-branded cockpit, with a carbon low-rise bar and Team Enduro/Trail stem, rounds out a build kept deliberately light throughout.
Geometry reflects the Shuttle SL's trail-riding focus, with a 65–65.5-degree head tube angle and a 76–76.5-degree seat tube angle — noticeably steeper than a full-power enduro e-MTB, favoring quick handling and efficient climbing over outright descending stability. Chainstay length holds at 430–432mm across sizes, keeping the rear end tight and playful. Available in Desert Sage Green, Aspen White, and Black Lime, the Shuttle SL Pro X0 Eagle Transmission is built for riders who want the assist of an e-MTB without giving up the light, responsive feel of a traditional trail bike.
