Pivot Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike w/Range Extender Info
Pivot Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike w/Range Extender is Pivot's top-tier take on the all-mountain e-MTB, built to climb with real authority and descend with the composure of a dedicated enduro bike. The carbon frame delivers 150mm of rear travel, matched to a Fox Factory 36 fork running 160mm up front with a 44mm offset and the GRIP X2 damper. Pivot positions the Shuttle AM as its all-mountain benchmark, and the Team build backs that up with a parts spec that doesn't cut corners anywhere — from the drive unit to the brakes to the suspension.
Power comes from Bosch's Gen 5 Performance Line CX Race Edition motor, the brand's top e-MTB drive unit, capable of up to 120Nm of torque and 750 watts of peak power on the Shuttle AM platform. This build adds the Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender — a water bottle-shaped unit that mounts to the frame's bottle cage and adds 250Wh on top of the standard 800Wh internal battery while weighing just 3.3 lbs. Riders manage assist through the Bosch eBike Flow app, including the newer eMTB+ mode, which adjusts support in real time based on pedal input and trail conditions instead of holding to a fixed power curve. For riders who want to link longer routes or simply not think about charge percentage mid-ride, the added battery capacity is a real difference-maker.
The drivetrain is SRAM's XX Eagle Transmission, a wireless, direct-mount system that shifts under load without a derailleur hanger to bend or misalign — a meaningful advantage on a bike built to take hits on rocky, root-strewn descents. It runs SRAM AXS Pod Controllers, a Praxis Carbon eCranks E-MTB crankset with a 34t chainring, and a 10-52t XX-1297 cassette with enough range for technical climbs and fire-road spinning alike. Braking comes from SRAM Maven Ultimate 4-piston calipers on 200mm HS2 Centerlock rotors front and rear, sized to control the momentum of a motor-assisted bike carrying real speed downhill.
Suspension on the Team build is Fox Factory throughout — the 36 up front and a Float X shock out back — paired here with the Maven Ultimate brakes for riders who want top-tier damping control and equally serious stopping power. A OneUp Dropper V3 post, sized from 150mm on the S up to 210mm on the L-XL, keeps the cockpit adaptable between climbs and descents. DT Swiss HXC1501 rims on DT Swiss 350 hubs (36T star ratchet rear) roll on a mixed Maxxis Minion setup — a DHF up front and a DHR II out back, both in EXO+ casing with 3C MaxxTerra compound for a balance of grip and durability. The Phoenix-branded cockpit — carbon low-rise bar, Team Enduro/Trail stem, and factory lock-on grips — rounds out a build with no obvious weak points.
Geometry leans aggressive but controlled, with a 64.1–64.5-degree head tube angle for descending confidence and a 76.5–76.9-degree seat tube angle that keeps the climbing position efficient even with the front end slackened out. Chainstay length holds at 444mm across all four sizes (S, M, L, XL), a deliberate choice that keeps handling balance consistent no matter which frame size a rider lands on. Available in Blue Dark Sky and Badlands Brown, the Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission is built for riders who want a genuine big-mountain platform — one where the motor, drivetrain, and suspension are all specced to match the terrain it's meant to cover.
