Pivot Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike Info
The Pivot Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike sits at the top of Pivot's Shuttle AM lineup, the model Pivot positions as its all-mountain benchmark — a full-power e-bike built to climb under real assist and descend with the composure of a dedicated trail bike. This Team build pairs a 160mm-travel Fox Factory 36 fork with a 150mm Fox Factory Float X shock on a carbon chassis, and loads it with SRAM's mechless XX Eagle Transmission drivetrain and Maven Ultimate brakes — the exact combination Pivot reserves for its top-tier Shuttle AM builds.
Power comes from Bosch's Gen 5 Performance Line CX Race Edition motor, delivering up to 120Nm of torque and 750 watts of peak output from an 800Wh internal battery. The Bosch Flow app switches between Turbo, Sport, and eMTB-shortcrank modes, or hands pacing over to the newer eMTB+ mode, which reads pedal input and trail conditions in real time and adjusts assist accordingly — the kind of support that matters on punchy, technical climbs where a fixed power curve either overwhelms the rear tire or leaves you underpowered. Riders chasing bigger days can add Bosch's PowerMore 250 range extender, a bottle-shaped 3.3-pound unit that bolts to the frame for another 250Wh without throwing off the bike's balance.
The drivetrain is the build's namesake feature. SRAM's XX Eagle Transmission mounts directly to the frame instead of running through a replaceable derailleur hanger, which removes a common e-bike failure point where high torque and trail impacts meet a small aluminum bracket. It's matched to a 10-52t XX-1297 cassette and Flattop chain for a wide enough spread to spin up steep fire road or grind through chunky singletrack, shifted through SRAM's AXS Pod Controller. A Praxis Carbon eCranks E-MTB crankset with a 34t ring handles the motor's added torque without the flex a standard mountain bike crank would show under load, and stopping power runs through Maven Ultimate four-piston calipers on 200mm HS2 rotors — enough clamping force to manage the extra weight and speed that come with a mid-drive motor on steep, sustained descents.
Suspension and rolling stock follow the same top-tier logic. The Fox Factory 36 fork's 44mm offset and GRIP X2 damper are tuned for stability at speed, while the Float X shock keeps the 150mm rear end active without wallowing under power. DT Swiss HXC1501 carbon wheels, built on DT Swiss 350 hubs, carry Maxxis's Minion DHF up front and Minion DHR II out back — a front-specific, rear-specific tire pairing in 3C/EXO+/MaxxTerra casings that's become the standard setup for aggressive all-mountain and enduro riding, giving cornering bite where you need it and a faster-rolling, more durable casing where you don't.
Cockpit and contact points are Pivot's own Phoenix components — a Race Low Rise carbon handlebar on a Team Enduro/Trail stem, a Pivot Team E-Bike saddle, and a OneUp Dropper V3 post that scales from 150mm on a small frame to 210mm on a large or XL, so taller riders aren't left with a dropper that undersells the bike's descending intent. Geometry runs slack and steep in the right places — a 64.1 to 64.5-degree head angle and 76.5 to 76.9-degree seat angle across the size run — built to climb efficiently and stay planted once the trail tips downhill. The Shuttle AM Team XX Eagle Transmission Bike is for riders who want to earn technical descents under real power and trust the drivetrain and brakes to hold up when the terrain gets rough, available in Blue Dark Sky and Badlands Brown from size S to XL.
