Giordana Men's FR-C Pro Doppio Suit Info

The Giordana Men's FR-C Pro Doppio Suit is a one-piece race suit that connects jersey to shorts without bib straps, built for riders who want their race-day kit as a single unit instead of two. The 2025 update refines the fabric for a closer, smoother fit and moves the front opening further inward so it doesn't pull at the hips the way earlier versions could. It's the kind of skinsuit that disappears on the bike instead of demanding attention.

That fit comes from a 210gm Power Spandex fabric that's compressive and abrasion-resistant without feeling restrictive. A minimalized zipper system keeps the front clean, set-in sleeves with seamless, straight-cut cuffs avoid the bunching that ruins an aero fit, and a uniformly woven, straight-cut hem stays put instead of riding up. UPF 35-50+ sun protection and reflective tabs round out a suit built as much for long days out as for racing.

Underneath, the Aloe-infused, anti-microbial Cirro chamois is built for comfort over hours in the saddle, not just a quick criterium effort. Three rear pockets and a zippered side pocket keep food, tools, and a phone within reach despite the suit's close-fitting cut. Made in Italy, the FR-C Pro Doppio Suit is suited to racers and serious club riders who want a second-skin fit for long, high-effort rides where a looser jersey and bib combination starts to cost you speed.

The RA Perspective

We point riders toward the Doppio Suit when they've already got a few kits in rotation and want one built specifically around fit and speed rather than everyday comfort. The one-piece construction genuinely does what it's supposed to do — no gap at the waist, no bunching where jersey meets bib, and the 2025 update's repositioned front opening fixes the hip-pulling issue that showed up on earlier versions.

The tradeoff with any Doppio-style suit is bathroom logistics — it's a one-piece garment, so pit stops take longer than they would in a standard bib and jersey. Worth knowing before a long event. The fit is also genuinely second-skin, so riders carrying extra weight in the midsection will see it show more than in a looser-cut jersey.

Where it earns its price is the Cirro chamois, which holds up well on rides in the three-to-five-hour range, and the fabric itself, which stays compressive without cutting off circulation on long climbs. We've had customers wear the same suit for multiple seasons without the fabric sagging or the seams giving out.

We'd recommend this to racers and dedicated club riders logging serious volume who've already dialed in their kit rotation and want one suit built purely for performance.
