The Giordana Men's FR-C Pro Bib Knicker extends the FR-C Pro line's race-ready fit into knee-length coverage, built for the shoulder-season rides that fall between shorts weather and full tights. Giordana built the FR-C Pro cut to sit close to the body like a second skin, a fit the brand has refined through years of use with WorldTour teams, and the knicker carries that same silhouette down to the knee rather than cutting off mid-thigh.

HC50 High Compression Power Lycra makes up the primary fabric, giving the knicker a compressive, barely-there feel rather than the bulk you'd expect from added leg coverage. Giordana's Core Contour System paneling shapes the fit through the leg, and lightweight mesh inserts at the knee regulate temperature so the added length doesn't turn into added heat on a warming afternoon. Knickers are one of those categories riders either swear by or ignore entirely, and the FR-C Pro version is a good argument for the former. The HC50 fabric feels close to what we'd expect from Giordana's regular FR-C Pro bib shorts — compressive without feeling tight, and it doesn't bunch behind the knee the way some knicker designs do. The knee mesh does its job on a warming morning; we haven't found it running noticeably hotter than a standard bib once temperatures climb into the 60s.

Where it makes the most sense is early season riding and fall rides with a wide temperature swing — cool at the start, warm by the finish. It's a narrower use case than a standard bib short, so riders who mostly ride in stable warm weather won't get as much value out of the extra coverage.
