The CeramicSpeed Ceramic Wheel Kits - Lightweight 1 is the direct replacement kit for the bearings found in Lightweight Meilenstein Tubular wheels — including Standard, Schwarz, and Weiss versions. Six bearings in total: two for the front hub, two for the rear hub, and two for the cassette body.

CeramicSpeed uses Grade 3 Silicon Nitride ceramic balls, manufactured to a surface finish and roundness that the company claims are 400% smoother and 128% harder than standard steel balls, while weighing 58% less. They also exceed standard ceramic ball tolerances — rated over 100% smoother and 15% harder. The balls are installed into hardened steel races in dust-free clean rooms, and CeramicSpeed's own-formula grease comes pre-applied, with a syringe included so you can add more before fitting the seals. The result, according to CeramicSpeed, is bearing life three to five times longer than conventional bearings — not just lower rolling resistance, but meaningfully extended service intervals even under hard use.
