The Deda Superbox DCR Stem was designed around one persistent problem: internal cable routing that actually works cleanly across different frame standards. Built using 3D forging technology, it supports four distinct routing configurations — DCR, S-DCR, Direct, and External — so it fits the bike you have, not the one a single-standard stem was built for.
The stem's integrated cover system is where the engineering earns its keep. You can install, adjust, or service cables and hydraulic housing without disconnecting or threading through from scratch — the nylon covers and included spacers feature purpose-built slits that let them flex open around existing cables. The result is a clean cockpit that doesn't punish you every time the bike needs attention. It fits a standard 1-1/8" steerer tube with a 46/56mm upper head tube, and the wide length range — 70mm through 160mm — makes it a practical choice across road, gravel, and mountain builds alike.
