The SRAM 11-Speed Asymmetric Chainring is built for riders running a 1x drivetrain on the road, in cyclocross, or on a time-trial setup — where chain retention isn't optional, it's the whole point. The alternating wide-narrow tooth profile is designed to engage directly with each link's inner and outer chain plates, locking the chain in place without a guide or secondary retention device. On rough ground, in mud, or mid-sprint, the chain stays where it belongs.

The asymmetric tooth geometry is engineered to work with SRAM's 11-speed chain, with taller, squared-off teeth and mud-clearing recesses at the base that help shed debris before it can cause a skip or drop. These rings mount in the outer position on a five-bolt double crank — the inner position stays empty — and the ring is offset toward the bottom bracket to maintain proper chainline for a single-ring setup. Available in a 34t option for lighter climbing gearing or a 50t for those who need the larger ring at the top end, both in a 110x4 bolt circle diameter.
