The THM Fibula Brake Calipers are what happens when a carbon-fiber specialist spends over a decade refining a single product — 120g for the set, front and rear combined, without pads. The caliper arms and the springs are both carbon, produced via RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) for tighter consistency and improved strength. Despite that weight, they stop hard.
The design accommodates rims from 19mm to 30mm wide and tires up to 30mm, adjustable without re-clamping the cable. Reach runs 38–48mm, so the Fibula fits bikes specced for short-reach brakes. The single-pivot architecture uses a modern 1:1.5 lever-to-caliper travel ratio — compatible with brake levers from the major groupset manufacturers. THM includes their own brake shoes; Shimano/SRAM-compatible pads fit the shoes, with pad choice left to you since most Fibula builds are stopping carbon rims. Note that THM recommends a maximum total system weight — rider, bike, and gear combined — of no more than 110kg.
