This particular build comes set up for Campagnolo drivetrains, and at $999.99 against a $2,500 regular price, it's a considerable discount on a wheelset that carried a retail price closer to $3,000 when new.

Both rims are mated to carbon hubs rather than the more common aluminum hub shells found on wheels in this category, keeping weight down at the center of the wheel where rotational mass matters most. The front wheel uses an 18-spoke radial lacing pattern and weighs 560 grams as a tubular build, while the rear uses a 24-spoke pattern, radial on the non-drive side and two-cross on the drive side to handle drivetrain load, and comes in at 788 grams.
