The Look X-Track Race Carbon Pedals are built for cross-country racing where every gram on the bike is a gram you're carrying up the climb. The carbon body brings the weight down to 174g per pedal while retaining a 515mm² contact platform — a surface area Look's engineers arrived at by identifying exactly which zones contribute to power transfer and removing material everywhere else.

The chromoly spindle runs through a double weather-resistant seal, keeping the internals protected from mud, grit, and trail debris without adding meaningful weight. Lateral contact support guides your foot onto the pedal body even when the cleat isn't engaged — useful when you're scrambling to clip back in mid-trail. An adjustable tension screw lets you dial entry and release to your preference, and the 6-degree float gives your knees some room to move naturally through the pedal stroke. Compatible with SPD cleats, with a stack height of 16.8mm including cleats.
