Ceramic bearings set this version apart from the standard Keo Blade. They generate up to 18 percent less friction than steel equivalents and resist dust and corrosion far more effectively — with a service life estimated at four to six times that of steel bearings. The 700mm² cleat contact area maximises power transfer through the drivetrain, keeping your effort where it belongs. One important note: the knob at the base of the pedal is a foot retention lock, not a tension adjuster. Disengage it before releasing the cleat to avoid damage to the pedal.
