The SRAM Force Chain 12-Speed is built around the Flattop link design — a narrower, lower-profile construction that sits quieter on the drivetrain and reduces chain slap compared to conventional chain profiles. Inner link plates are hard chrome finished for durability and smoother, more consistent shifting, while outer plates use a nickel finish. The result is a chain that holds up under load and moves cleanly across the cassette.

At 114 links with a PowerLock connector, the Force chain is designed to work within SRAM's 12-speed AXS ecosystem. The PowerLock joining link means you can remove and reinstall the chain without specialist tools — useful for routine cleaning and maintenance.
