The 3T Strada Italia Super Record WRL 13-speed Fulcrum Sharq 42 Bike is 3T's flagship road build — and the name reveals what matters. "Italia" means this frame was built in 3T's headquarters in northern Italy, not in the Asian factories that produce their other models. That distinction isn't marketing; it's manufacturing. The Jazz Carbon process that earns a frame the "Italia" designation uses robot-controlled filament winding, where continuous dry carbon fibers are wrapped around mandrels by a programmed machine — no cut pieces of conventional pre-preg, no hand-trimming. The mandrels are then placed into molds by hand, and only the precise amount of resin is injected via Resin Transfer Molding at the final step. The result is more accurate fiber placement, longer continuous fibers, and a frame that 3T describes as more reactive — meaningfully stiffer than their Asian-made equivalent, yet with a ride character that dampens vibrations rather than transmitting them.
