This version of the Yeti ASR is crafted with their TURQ carbon fiber. This is the lightest and stiffest carbon in their arsenal and is used by their highest level athletes. They used their zero redundant carbon method to make sure only what was completely necessary was used in the construction of the frame. Every component is meticulously selected to shave off excess weight, making it effortlessly maneuverable on climbs and nimble through technical descents. DT Swiss XRC 1200 Carbon Wheels add to that nimble carbon speed. With 20+ years of carbon crafting experience at their back, Yeti knew that they could push the limits of carbon removal and come up with a bike that is fast in all areas of the trail.
At the heart of the Yeti ASR lies its meticulously tuned suspension system, designed to offer a perfect balance of plushness and efficiency. With a progressive leverage rate, the ASR smoothly transitions through its travel, soaking up bumps and rough terrain while maintaining traction and control. On this premier version of the ASR, you will find a high level RockShox SID Luxe Ultimate 3P shock with a TwistLoc for 115mm of rear travel. The RockShox SID Ultimate fork adds another 120mm of front travel.
