TREAD
Developed in Boulder Colorado, the Newton BOCO AT (All Terrain) shoe prides itself on catering to the most rugged trails. Newton's signature lugs allow for greater neuromuscular enhancement; in Layman's terms: your foot's ground-feel awareness. The BOCO AT uses a total of six multi-directional lugs -- four in the forefoot for impact protection and two on the outsole to prevent instability on gnarly rocks, jagged sticks, or wet leaves. The lugs also encourage a natural mid-to-forefoot strike which lends to a faster turnover.
ELEMENTS RESISTANT

The BOCO AT's closed upper mesh is treated with a water repellant coating complimenting the form fitting midsole.
