Deda’s Pista Stem is built for the sprint position—it goes low. Super-low. Specifically, it has a 70-degree angle, or -20. That’s comparing it to a stem that’s theoretically at 90-degrees aka one that is perpendicular with the steerer tube.. It’s below parallel—a flat stem these days is a 73-degree angle, and this is below that.

You’ll want this stem if you already have your stem slammed and want to get lower. And it’s designed for people who sprint hard, thrashing their bikes when sprinting at high rpm on the banked oval.

The material deployed is 2014 aluminum alloy that is 3D forged. It’s oversized, too. And has chromoly bolts to boot.

The specs are as follows. It has a steerer clamp measuring 1 1/8” in diameter. The clamp height is 40mm. The handlebar clamp is 31.7mm in diameter. The stem comes in lengths from 90-140mm in 10mm increments. Weight for the 110mm version is 126g.
