The Cervélo R5 is a world class climbing bike that has shown dominance all over the road on the World Tour. Each year, it gets lighter and faster, and this time around is no exception. A Quarq Zero power meter makes it a professional level setup. The R5 has a sweet spot of stiffness that is less than an aero bike but still leads to great power generation. While power transfer is important, you need to feel fresh, stable, and comfortable on difficult climbs.
