Pivot Shuttle SL Team XTR Bike Info
The Pivot Shuttle SL Team XTR introduces a new standard for trail eBike performance. Rather than focusing on the Shuttle SL as an eBike, they chose to build it with standard performance trail dynamics that would make it feel like a traditional world class trail bike. This includes an incredibly lightweight frame, a refined suspension, and incredible handling. With a lightweight motor that is barely visible, the Pivot Shuttle SL is as close as you can get to analog trail performance while still getting that extra kick.
The frame of the Pivot Shuttle SL is made entirely of carbon fiber to stay on par with the lightweight nature of some of the best trail bikes in the world. The battery and motor are both small and lightweight, allowing the entire bike to weigh in at just over 36 pounds. This allows the Shuttle SL to be one of the only eBikes in the world with the type of responsiveness that an absence of mass can create. Thanks to this innovative design, this bike flat out rips on any terrain. It can bounce around technical areas and fly up the toughest climb. The Shuttle SL bridges the gap between eBike and analog.
The driving force behind the Pivot Shuttle SL is its 60Nm Fazua motor. This innovative power unit is fed by a 430Wh battery which is incredibly compact, lightweight, and out of sight. The small yet powerful motor gives you the extra punch you need on climbs and bigger moves on tough terrain, helping you ride at your very best. Both the motor and battery are housed low on the bike, close to its center of mass, so they will not get in the way of your balance or control. When the motor is not being called on to assist, it completely disengages, resulting in a silent and smooth pedaling experience. The Fazua motor helps you achieve as close to a natural eBike performance as possible.
A thought-out geometry also contributes to the natural feel and excellent performance of the Pivot Shuttle SL. Its dw-Link suspension kinematics help simultaneously provide a comfortable base with powerful pedaling. Position-sensitive anti-squat technology helps eliminate pedal bob during hard efforts, resulting in top efficiency. This results in superior pedaling performance without having to sacrifice braking or suspension feel. A vertical shock layout allows for more bottle clearance, increased shock rate progression, and improved standover height. The head angle is slackened compared to similar bikes and the chainstay lengths are size-specific for the most intuitive handling possible.
This is an elite version of the Shuttle SL, equipped with some of the best components available. At the front, it features 150mm of travel thanks to a Fox Factory E-Tuned 36 Fork. The fork is 44mm offset and neatly houses the 29-inch Reynolds Blacklabel XC wheelset. At the rear, 132mm of travel is added with the help of the world-class Fox Factory Float X shock. This version is also built up with a high-level Shimano XTR 12-speed trail specific groupset. The Pivot Shuttle SL is here to set a new standard in eMTB performance.
