Race Face Atlas Stem Info

Race Face Atlas goods are built for withstanding gravity. They know you want to take advantage of the force; the components are built to resist the negative effects of the force, while advantaging your positive effects on the bike. This Atlas Stem does the same.

It’s for downhilling and other fall-line pursuits. The handlebar clamp is 31.8mm; thus it works with most bars. The steerer tube clamp is 1 1/8”; ergo it works with most forks.

Where RF puts their work is in turning the 6061-T6 chunk of aluminum alloy into a super stiff link in your steering engineering. The faceplate is designed to lock into the stem. Four bolts make that connection rock solid. The opposing twin bolts on the steerer do the same there.

This stem’s stack height is 40mm. It has zero degrees of rise. The Atlas comes in two lengths, 50mm weighing 155g and 65mm weighing 170g.
