The Shimano XT Trail Tubeless Wheelset is an excellent way to gain reliable and fast performance on your trail bike at a reasonable price. This version features 29-inch wheels which offers quick acceleration and the ability to roll over tough obstacles. Aluminum tubeless rims are utilized and offset by balanced spoke tension. The double butted straight pull spokes are laced to centerlock hubs which create reliable and smooth rolling. The hubs are also properly sealed to keep mud and other elements out. With reliable high-speed cornering and quick power transfer, you will get the trail riding experience you need.

These wheels are compatible with centerlock disc brakes which have become the norm for top trail bikes. They are also ready to use with current 12-speed mountain bike groupsets. 2.25 – 2.5 inch tires are recommended to use on these wheels which have quick nine-degee hub engagement. Please note that rim tape will be required to properly use your tubeless wheelset. The XT wheels use Micro Spline Technology which utilizes a lightweight aluminum freehub body to reduce weight with a smaller Spline diameter. It has a simple setup and limits possible damage to cogs.
