Rotor PF4130 (BB86/BB89/BB92) to BB30 Steel Bottom Bracket Info
The Rotor PF4130 Bottom Bracket with Steel Bearings allows you to adapt your BB86, BB89, BB92 equipped frame to Rotor 30mm thru-axle cranks.
The understanding is in the name. The BB86, 89, 92 standards all have an inner diameter of 41mm, with the width being 86.5, 89.5, or 91.5mm in width. Sot that’s the 41. The 30 is the inner diameter of the bearings, 30mm that matches the external diameter of the thru-axle.
Rotor makes both the 3D30 and 3D30+ cranks with 30mm thru-axles. This bottom bracket allows you to install those cranks. It also allows for the installation of BB386 EVO cranks, pretty much only made by FSA.
The kit consists of two machined 7075-T6 cups. Inside the cups sit steel bearings with silicone shields. The cups and bearings get pressed in to the shell. Weight for the kit is 68g
