- For 2012 Giordana expands its award-winning FR-C collection, adding a new fit specifically engineered for the American cyclist
- Like its predecessor, the FR-C Flex Jersey is built from premium level materials, but utilizes them strategically within a modified panel design to achieve a new, more flexible fit
- Xpansion Channels™ at the cuffs adjust to snugly fit larger biceps without constricting
- The rear shoulder and waist paneling is designed to give with the rider, cloning the body to maintain a true race fit
- The shape of the panels eliminates puckers and creases by ergonomically following the body’s contours
- The sleeves, side panels and embossed shoulders are made of ultra-light Asteria™ fabric
- Gi27™ is used for the front panel while Host Carbon™ is used for the rear panels
- In back, Host limits the vertical stretch, stabilizing the pockets to prevent sag when they’re loaded
- Both Host and the Ametista™ that wrap the waist have threads of carbon woven through them, allowing the materials to be lighter, while maintaining strength
- Carbon has the added benefit of reducing electrical interference around internal organs
- At the cuffs, Ametista is backed with Antigua™ to form the Aerofix Gripper System™, which holds the jersey perfectly in place with a seamless feel
- The AeroFix band at the arm cuff measures 0.7'' (4.5 cm)
- Antigua is perforated to create pockets of air next to the skin and to allow airflow to pass through
