Colnago G4-X Force AXS Bike Info
Colnago has made their name off winning races at the highest level. The G4-X proves that they are ready to expand to winning races beyond the road. This race-ready gravel bike is one of the lightest and stiffest on the market, prepared to fly up climbs and sprint on nearly any terrain. Its compliance and tire clearance have both been improved to deal with some of the more gnarly modern day gravel courses. Now, the G4-X can house tires up to 45mm wide. This version comes with 40mm Pirelli tires on Fulcrum Rapid Red 500 wheels. The Colnago G4-X is designed to merge classic Colnago speed with off-road capability.
The G4-X is balanced to perform in every area of gravel riding. It is lightweight, has great handling, features stiff carbon, and is responsive and stable on descents. There is a new seatpost lock that is designed to withstand more tightening torque to increase stability and safety on those descents and difficult terrain. This gives riders the confidence to go all out on their fastest rides. Like most Colnago bikes, the G4-X is meant to be ridden fast but refuses to sacrifice ride quality and handling.
Despite a focus on high speeds, the G4-X is still a gravel bike that is designed for adventure. It comes with four mounting points that can accept bottle cages and small bags. This gives riders all the storage they need without overdoing it and disrupting aerodynamics. This version of the G4-X features a two piece bar and stem combo but can also accommodate their integrated CC.01 Wide cockpit. It also comes complete with a SRAM Force AXS D2 groupset for 12-speed electronic shifting that has proven to be a top choice of gravel riders. The Colnago G4-X takes Colnago speed beyond the road.
