If the devil is in the details, a Dynaplug is the proverbial dotting of the "i". A staple on any RA Cycles employee's bike; this tool is the first arrow in the quiver for a tubeless puncture. If your sealant can't do the job, Dynaplug can.

As tubeless technology has made its way into the road realm, some riders are reluctant to make the switch. Whether it's a desire to stick to what they know, or if they received a horror story from a tubeless novice, there is typically some hesitance to commit to the tubeless lifestyle. The number one question, is of course, what happens when I get a puncture?

A large portion of the punctures you receive on a tubeless setup you'll never know about. Sealant prevents any minor punctures from being noticeable, but it isn't infallible. Dynaplug, quite literally, fills the gap. After stabbing the Dynaplug into your puncture and removing the tool, the plug will be left behind to keep you rolling.

The rubber tail from the plug will flatten out as you ride, and eventually fuse with the rubber of your tire. The plug stays in the tire, and there's no need for a messy extraction once you get home. Even better, you can continue to ride that tire! The plugs are designed to be a 'long' term solution, and not just a limp-home scenario. After a second plug on the same tire, replacement should be considered. If you find yourself plugging for a third time, the casing has been compromised enough and should be replaced.

As a more-than-satisfied Dynaplug Racer user, I don't let anyone out the door on a tubeless setup without one!

How to use Dynaplug:

How to Load / ReLoad your Dynaplug Racer:

Step #1: Roll plug between your thumb and forefinger to narrow it's diameter before attempting to load into the insertion tube. * Do not hold brass tip while rolling

Step #2: Slide plug into insertion tube until brass tip is flush against the tube. * If the plug too sticky or won't fit in the tube, re-roll and apply saliva / water to lube the plug. You can also clean the tube with a pipe cleaner and rubbing alcohol.
